Lesson: Working after Retirement
After WWII, an employment system developed in which people worked 40-hour weeks, retired at 60 or 65, and then enjoyed their golden years. That system only became a reality for the early baby boomer generation. The rest of us, it seems, will have to continue working after retirement. Many people will not be able to live on their retirement savings, if they have any at all, and will have to continue working. Others choose to continue working because they want to, not because they must.
