Lesson: Will We Soon Reach the Limit?
Part of what it means to be human is to have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. We continuously strive to turn over every rock, look behind every tree and peer into every crevice, searching for answers to our questions and questions for answers we didn’t even comprehend were possible. We call this quest science, and the people who earn their living searching for answers to our questions, scientists. Thanks to the discoveries of these scientists, the accumulated knowledge of the human race has continued to grow at an exponential rate. This leads us to yet another question. Is there a limit? Is there a limit to what the human brain can comprehend? Will we one day be unable to formulate any questions? Will we one day find ourselves unable to discover any answers?
