Lesson: Weight Loss Drugs

Ozempic is a drug used by people to help control their diabetes. First, it was a well-kept secret for those in the know in Hollywood. Now, it’s all the rage among people suffering from obesity, too. Why, you may ask, has a diabetes drug become popular among people trying to lose weight? Well, Ozempic and similar drugs suppress a person’s appetite. If you don’t crave food, you eat less, thus increasing your chances of decreasing your weight. Can and should drugs of any type be used in the place of good old-fashioned positive habit formation and willpower?
