Lesson: War with China
The thought of war with China should cause you to shudder, but it is a distinct possibility. It’s been a long time since powerful countries with global economies and modern military capabilities went to war with each other. The recent AUKUS deal, in which Britain and the United States agreed to provide Australia with nuclear submarines, counterbalances Chinese naval power. Japan has said it would help Taiwan if or when China attacks. European authorities are placing more military assets in Asia. South Korea, India and Japan are building aircraft carriers. This may be a buildup to war with China.
