Lesson: War on the Roads
The title is a dead giveaway this time. You know we’re going to be talking about road rage. We are living in exciting times in Japan. Since my first trip here in 1999, I’ve observed many changes in Japanese society. Some changes have been positive. Others, however, leave much to be desired. Middle-aged people, in particular, seem to be angrier than before. News reports and real-life police TV shows indicate more and more middle-aged people are becoming involved with the police due to anger management and frustration problems. Now, anger and frustration are playing themselves out on the roads. What the heck is going on? Be safe out there.
