Lesson: Urban Exploration

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the term urban exploration? Do you think of stumbling across a cafe that’s a hidden gem or discovering some fantastic art museum with off-the-wall pieces you never knew existed? Well, that’s not the right idea. Urban exploration usually occurs under the cover of darkness because it’s somewhat illegal. It involves going into abandoned buildings, visiting old subway tunnels, or climbing construction sites to see what regular civilians never see – the bare bones of society – cities as we rarely see them.
