Lesson:
Tiny Homes
Americans are downsizing in a big way. Due to high home prices, changing opinions about consumerism and wanting to be more mobile, thousands of Americans are building and moving into tiny homes. If you think Tokyo apartments are small, you should check out tiny homes; the average size is about 93 square meters. Buying a motorhome and travelling around the country extensively has long been an American pastime. However, people often had a regular-sized home waiting for them when they returned. Now people are converting shipping containers and busses into full-time residences or building a home on wheels from scratch. It’s not all rainbows and unicorns, though. Living in a tiny home poses some difficulties, such as how you move it and where you leave it. These days the tiny home movement has been catching on, and people intend to live in them for years, if not forever. Let’s have a big conversation about tiny homes.
