Almost every person must think about finding a life partner at some point in their life. It has to be a particular person with whom they can grow old and share all life experiences. We hear people talk about finding ‘the one’ or ‘their soulmate.’ There are stories of love at first sight, when eyes lock across a crowded room, when the world fades away, and the only two people who exist are you and the one you have been looking for your whole life. So, is this real or fantastic romanticism contrived to sell weddings and Valentine’s Day cards?
