Lesson: Sporks, Chorks & Chopsticks

At first blush, there may seem to be nothing exciting at all about eating utensils. What can we say about knives, forks and spoons, right? Well, when it comes to knives and spoons, you’re right; there is not much to discuss. However, the fork has been causing controversy since the day it was invented. At first, Americans wanted to continue eating with their fingers. Now Europeans and Americans use forks differently, with no end to the debate over who is correct. Chopsticks have also entered the conversation, and the world has never been the same since. We’ll be talking about the fork, and I’m sure we’ll have a good tine*. Bon Appetite!

PS, no, it’s not a spelling mistake. It’s a play on words
