Lesson: News: To Read or Not to Read
I have been a confessed news junky since I was able to read the newspaper. The news is a way to connect with the broader world, find out what is going on and gain insight from others, which would help me form my own opinions about local, national and world events. With all the crazy things happening in the world, the news can also drive you around the bend. Some people have chosen to tune out because they feel the news harms their health. So, what do you think? Should we use the news as an educational tool, or is it better to tune out for our own good?
