Lesson: Life After Lockdown
They say the only constant in life is change. Most change is incremental, so incremental that it is almost invisible. In essence, buildings are built and torn down, people enter our lives and leave them, and we grow old and never notice until one day, something makes us realize that change has happened. This time the change is going to be sudden and shocking. It doesn’t happen often, but it happens more often than you would think. The Lehman Shock, 9/11 and the invention of plastic are things that suddenly and irrevocably changed human life forever. This pandemic is another one of those life-tipping events. No matter how much we want to go back to the way things were, we never will. From politics to work-life to how we shop, things will never be the same again. Life after the lockdown will be a new world. We will all be navigating a new future together. Let’s look into what may be the very near future. During the time you took to read this lesson introduction, life has already changed.
