Lesson: Going Electric
The Japanese government recently announced it plans to ban the sale of gasoline-powered cars by 2035. Toyota has been pushing hard for hydrogen-powered vehicles while the rest of the world is going electric. There are 9,300 electric charging stations in the UK, which are already more than the existing 8,400 fuel stations. Tesla, the largest electric vehicle manufacturer globally, has captured the Chinese market and become the most valuable vehicle manufacturer in the world. Going electric does present some challenges. 2021 is slated to be the year of the electric car in the US, with many new vehicles set to hit the market. Is it time to jump on the bandwagon?
