The world has turned a corner since The Donald was deplatformed by big tech. Although social media is now a more pleasant place to be, his deplatforming has raised some interesting questions and topics, such as censorship and whether social media platforms are responsible for what their users publish. Some argue that SNSs are the same as news websites where content is regulated. Facebook, Twitter (now X), etc., prefer to say they are merely platforms and do not make editorial decisions.
