Lesson: Dearly Departed
Death is a part of life. Like most things in life, even dying is becoming more expensive. The funeral industry is big business, and with the high number of ageing baby boomers, it’s only going to become more significant. The passing of a loved one is a very delicate time when family members may not be thinking clearly. It appears that some undertakers may take advantage of the situation and are dishonest when it comes to providing funeral services. In some cases, they charge exorbitant prices or provide lavish services when simpler services would suffice. On the other hand, there is a trend away from the internment of ashes and towards the scattering of ashes on land or at sea.
