Lesson: Consciousness
Consciousness has been a topic of fascination for centuries, and recent studies have shown that animals such as dogs, elephants, and birds exhibit forms of consciousness. This raises the question of whether artificial intelligence (AI) can be conscious. Some argue that consciousness is a byproduct of complexity, and if machines become complex enough, they could become conscious. Others argue that consciousness requires more than complexity and that machines can never be truly conscious. Whatever consciousness is, we are going to discuss it in this lesson.
