Household budgets are being squeezed. What can I say? Belt-tightening is the fashion of the day. For 30 years, prices never rose in Japan. If you’re not familiar with Japan, I’m serious. The cost-of-living squeeze has caused companies to increase prices that were set during the 1970s oil crisis. Brits, Canadians, Aussies, and Europeans are all looking at their household budgets while pulling out their hair. This time, we’ll look at some household budgeting techniques and discuss how we can tighten our purse strings further.
