An intravenous drip (IV) is commonly associated with hospitals and sickness. That’s not the only place where they are prevalent, though. These days wannabe patients can pay for a special IV cocktail that is purported to work as a liquid pick-me-up or hangover cure administered through an IV drip. Having had firsthand experience of the instant benefits of an IV drip during an illness, I can understand its reasoning.
