Word of the Day: Utmost

In my personal opinion, we should all do our utmost every day to be the best that we, personally, can be.

Utmost means the greatest or highest amount.

Therefore, if we put our utmost effort into what we do, then we will do our best.

Society spends a lot of time talking about being the best.

We are all pressured to be number one.

However, the truth is there can only be one number one; if everyone is number one, then being number one is nothing special at all.

So what should we do?

Should we give up?

No, never give up.

If we do our utmost, which means the greatest or highest amount, then we should never feel ashamed about being number two, three or even 873.

Therefore, if we consistently try to put our greatest effort into everything we do, then we will do our best.

We will be the best person that we can be.

That’s all that matters.
