Word of the Day: Threadbare

It is getting close to the time when we all put away our cool-weather clothing and take our summer clothes out of storage.

It is also the time when we throw away our old threadbare clothes to make room for new clothing.

Sometimes, our favourite pair of jeans is just too old and threadbare.

Do you know what I mean?

Sometimes, holes in jeans look stylish, but as they get bigger and the holes are in inconvenient places, the jeans are simply too worn out to wear anymore.

Threadbare is used to describe old clothing that has become thin and worn out.

Most people enjoy shopping, so I hope you enjoy replacing all your threadbare summer clothing.

But try not to become a shopaholic please.
