Tap into

If you can tap into something, you can use it in a way that gives you a benefit. Most companies want to tap into the US market.
Oh, look at that! How convenient!

Word of the Day: Tap into (something)

If you can tap into something, you can use it in a way that benefits you.

Japanese companies want to tap into the North American market to sell their goods and benefit by earning a more substantial profit.

As you can see in my picture, if you can tap into a beer keg, you can access and drink the beer.

Hopefully, my students can access my knowledge so that they can benefit by improving their understanding of the English language.

We are all trying to tap into different things every day.
