Word of the Day: Surefire
When something is described as being surefire, it is certain or very likely to succeed.
The Japanese job market is very tight at the moment.
There are not enough people to fill the available jobs, and many industries have a worker shortage.
We’re pretty much at or incredibly close to 100% employment.
If a person wants a job, looking for one is a surefire way to find one.
I’m not saying they will get the job they want or an excellent job; I’m saying that looking is a surefire way to find one in this job market.
