All Hollow’s Eve is just around the corner.

Today is the last day of September, and before we know it, it’ll be October 31st (All Hallow’s Eve, Halloween, Hallowe’en).

As we approach All Hallow’s Eve, we must be prepared for the potential presence of ghosts, goblins, spooks, vampires, and werewolves.

We have to be careful.

Everyone knows that garlic can keep a vampire away.

But what about werewolves?

Well, a silver bullet is the best way to kill a werewolf.

So, at the end of the month, make sure you carry garlic in your pocket and have a silver bullet on hand just in case you meet a vampire or werewolf.

Now, that said, the term silver bullet has another meaning.

Interestingly, the term silver bullet can also be used to describe a straightforward solution to a complex problem.

For example, there is no silver bullet to solve the problems relating to the Japanese economy.

We would all love it if researchers could find one to cure cancer or any major disease.
