Penchant

If you like something very much, you probably have a penchant for it. As an example. some people have a penchant for cozy mysteries.
Sorry, the Van Houten Chocolate Christmas cake never lasts long enough to take a picture of it.

Word of the Day: Penchant

If you like something very much, you probably have a penchant for it.

I have a penchant for two things: chocolate and long walks.

I suppose I’m lucky because long walks help me burn off the calories I gain from eating chocolate.

If you like something very much, you probably have a penchant for it.

For example, some people have a penchant for cozy mysteries.

Anyway, to get back on topic, I love eating rich and delicious chocolate cake.

It’s to die for.

Each Christmas, I purchase a handmade Van Houten chocolate Christmas cake.

Now, in Japan, Christmas cakes are not usually chocolate; they’re made of sponge cake with lots of fresh fruit on top.

I know this, but as I said earlier, I have a penchant for chocolate.

Although my wife and I share the cake, I eat the lion’s share.
