Word of the Day: Peckish

Peckish means to feel just a little hungry.

When you are sitting at your desk at about 10:00 am, you may start to feel a little peckish.

10:00 am is about halfway between breakfast and lunch.

It is too early to eat lunch but too late to have a second breakfast; it is an excellent time to have a snack.

When you are feeling a little peckish, just remember the proverb about apples.
