To be one-of-a-kind means to be a super limited edition, so limited in fact, that there is only one; only one exists in the world.
I’ve seen cats with different coloured eyes, but this cat must be a one-of-a-kind cat.

Word of the Day: One-of-a-kind

Most of you know what a limited edition means: only a few of something is available.


Well, one-of-a-kind is a super limited edition, so limited that there is only one.


The Donald, Pokémon Go at the moment, and I am one-of-a-kind.

No other English teacher in Japan can teach in my style. I’m not saying I am the best teacher, but I am an original, one-of-a-kind teacher.

If you are a higher-level English language learner and want to stop making the same mistakes over and over again, if you’re going to learn English differently, and if you want to know what the average eikaiwa doesn’t teach, then I am your one-of-a-kind English teacher.
