Word of the Day: Mindset

Boy, it is hot!

I mean, it is stinking hot!

It is so hot that my brain is going to melt.

The rainy season ended, and the summer heat started very quickly in Kansai this year.

I’m sure that most people feel the same way I do.

However, this mindset or way of thinking will not help us survive.

A mindset is a person’s particular way of thinking.

I try to change my way of thinking about this kind of weather.

I could get in a huff and complain about the heat, but I prefer to try to switch to a more positive mindset or way of thinking.

Sure, it is hot, but it is only going to last until the end of September, right?

I mean, that’s not so bad.

How about we all try to take a positive mindset and think positively about the summer heat?
