Litter

Litter is garbage or trash. The word litter can also be used as a verb to mean throwing garbage or trash on the ground.
Not a pretty picture.

Word of the Day: Litter

Litter, litter everywhere and nothing in the bin,

We throw litter on the ground, and isn’t that a sin?

We throw litter in the river; we throw litter in the sea,

But never, never, never throw any litter at me.

Hey, look at me!

I am a poet, and you didn’t even know it.

Yeah, I know that is a very cheesy poem.

By the way, litter is garbage or trash that is lying on the ground.

It can also be used as a verb to mean throwing garbage or trash on the ground.
