WotD: Guilty pleasure

Please don’t lie to yourself or me.

You have a guilty pleasure.

I know you do.

Remember that extra muffin you bought at the bakery yesterday?

Yes, you’re on a diet and should not have eaten it, but it was so good.

A guilty pleasure is something that you enjoy but also gives you a minor feeling of guilt.

I view it as a necessary evil to help us get through these hectic times.

Maybe you enjoy binge-watching on Netflix, but you know you should get up off the couch and go for a walk instead (especially after eating that extra muffin!).

The main point to remember is this: if you keep your guilty pleasure under wraps, nobody knows.
