Word of the Day: Gratis
I’ve some more Latin for you today.
Gratis means free or complimentary.
Gratis is a little Latin word that is still commonly used in English.
In my opinion, if something is provided for free, it may sound cheap or of little value.
However, providing something gratis for your customers may sound more sophisticated.
For example, every week, from Thursday to Monday, I try to provide idioms on my website gratis.
That means they are free to use, and you don’t have to pay to read them.
If you want to take advantage of this opportunity on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, you should sign up on the left side of this page.
So what are you waiting for?
