A fad is something very popular for a very short time, and then it is gone.

He has shown that he is going to be involved in the political world for longer than most people initially thought.

Pokémon Go, on the other hand, has just started to become popular.

Yes, it became trendy very quickly, but whether it will be just a fad or whether it will be prevalent for a long time, we will have to wait and see what happens in the future.

Donald Trump has turned out not to be one. He will be in for the long haul, and Pokémon Go may also be.
