Word of the Day: Enabler

An enabler is something such as the English language or someone who can help to make something happen.

If you can speak English confidently (confidence is essential) and fluently, you can give a presentation in English, conduct business overseas, or broaden your mind by reading various newspapers.

You see, the English language will be an enabler to help you do all these things.

Another is Internet technology (IT).

IT can help you communicate, buy, sell online, and access new information.

Just like English, IT is not the final goal; it is an enabler that helps us achieve something else.
