Dead wood

A common example of dead wood is a lazy person. A lazy person in your office who does not do their work is referred to as dead wood.
Sometimes, you have wood that cannot be used in the forest, and sometimes, in the office. Either way, it should be removed.

Word of the Day: Dead wood

Dead wood is something or someone that is not useful anymore.

A typical example is a lazy person in your workplace who doesn’t pull their weight.

It can be used to describe dead trees that cannot be used for lumber, or it can be used to describe a person.

In a park, on property you own, or even in your workplace, useless wood or people must be removed.

In the office, it is the same thing.

The boss has to decide to remove the dead wood and replace it with another better worker.
