Word of the Day: Click
Sometimes, people just become friends as soon as they meet.
Yes, people can click.
The meaning I am using differs from what it means to use your computer mouse.
When people click, they become instant friends.
It’s the same as hitting it off.
You know that sometimes, when meeting a person for the first time, you immediately do not like them.
There are also times when you meet a person and don’t like them, but eventually, your feelings change, and you do like them.
Well, people click when they immediately like each other the first time they meet.
People can click as friends or in a romantic sense; either way, the meaning is the same: they immediately become friendly with each other.
Then, there are other things that can click.
Sometimes, you are trying to accomplish something, but for some reason, it just won’t work.
Then suddenly, as you are dealing with the fiddly bits, something clicks, and everything falls into place.
In this case, when things click, they become successful or work properly.
