The word chiselled is used as an adjective to describe something with sharp, defined lines.


If a person has a round face, we cannot describe them as having chiselled facial features.

However, if they have sharp cheekbones and a strong chin, we can most likely describe them as having chiselled facial features.


This post is understandable by someone with at least a 7th-grade education (age 12).  

On the Flesch-Kincaid reading-ease test, this post scores 71.
