Word of the Day: Bug

You can think of a bug as an insect, bacteria, or virus that you can catch, such as a cold.

You can think of it as a device or software that someone secretly puts into your phone to hear your private conversations.

You can think of bug as a problem in a computer or other device.

However, you can also think of bug as meaning to have strong enthusiasm for something.

For example, if you have fallen in love with Japanese Sumo wrestling, you have caught the sumo bug.

Perhaps you have become very enthusiastic about the World Baseball Classic.

If so, you have the baseball bug.

Maybe you enjoy going out on weekends and taking pictures with your camera.

If you do, then you are a camera—well, you get the idea.

There you go, one more word with multiple meanings to add to your repertoire.
