Word of the Day: Adage

It’s a brief one today.

In the post, if at first, you don’t succeed, try, try again I used the term adage.

An adage is the same as a saying or proverb.

They all mean an expression that most people believe expresses the truth.


This post is simple and easy to read. It’s likely to be understood by someone with at least a 6th-grade education (age 11).
