English Idiom: Wolf in sheep’s clothing
We’ve all met one before – a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
Some people, at the first impression, seem to be so lovely.
They come across as a proper lady or gentleman.
Then you get to know them and realize that they are gaslighting you or selling children’s medication at extremely high prices.
In other words, they are just plain evil.
That’s what a wolf in sheep’s clothing is; it’s a person you think is just fantastic but later realize is very evil.
