Idiom: Wear many hats

I’m sure that many of you reading this post today wear many hats.

You may be a mother or father or a nurse or researcher.

Perhaps you are a wife, husband, son, daughter, granddaughter or grandfather.

No matter who you are, you most likely play multiple roles in your life, which is what it means to wear many hats.

The thing about having multiple roles is that it tends to make our lives complicated and extremely busy.

On the bright side, complicated and busy is always ever-changing and exciting, with never a dull moment.
