Word of the Day: Unhinged
I would say that this cat is unhinged, which is a slang way, and truthfully not a very polite way, to say that someone is mentally ill.
That is why I chose a picture of a cat to illustrate the meaning of this Word of the Day, not a person.
Working too hard or too much stress could cause a person to start acting crazy or abnormal.
As I mentioned before, if a person is unable to get outside for a long time due to bad weather, they could develop cabin fever.
Well, cabin fever is very much like becoming unhinged.
There are quite a few politicians in the world right now who would also fit the definition of unhinged.
Of course, I’m not going to name names here, but if you think about it for a few seconds, I’m sure you could think of a few world leaders who do not behave in a rational manner.
