Phrase: Trim the tree
I’m not sure about most people, but one of my favourite things about Christmas is getting out all the Christmas ornaments and trimming the tree.
It’s a very nostalgic experience for me.
Each of my decorations is stored in its own box, and each one reminds me of where I was when I bought it or how I felt when I found it.
Decorating or trimming the tree is a yearly custom that I thoroughly enjoy and hope to enjoy for many years to come.
Of course, a green tree is beautiful, but if you want to make a Christmas tree memorable, you have to trim it, which means decorating it.
