The whole shebang

The whole shebang is an expression, which means everything that is possibly considered or concerned with a topic.
When you look at the solar system, you’re looking at the whole shebang.

English Expression: The whole shebang

When a student studies with me, I correct all their mistakes, from articles to idioms and the whole shebang, which means everything considered or concerned with a topic.

I promise to give my all, correct 100% of my students’ errors, and explain those corrections to them.

In order for that to work and for my students to receive the most benefit from that, they also need to work hard on learning from their mistakes and improving all areas of their English language skills.

For me, the hard work doesn’t stop there.

I have my own business.

If you own your own business, you need to take care of the whole shebang, from opening times to marketing, taxes and creating lesson materials.

Just as students can take pride in their English improvement, I can take pride in the growth of my business.

I guess we could say taking care of the whole shebang is demanding and rewarding at the same time.
