English Idiom: The Sky’s the Limit

We must keep our feet on the ground, as we learned in yesterday’s post, but at the same time, we need to remember that the sky’s the limit.

It’s a very positive expression, which means there are no limits to what we can accomplish.

When it comes to learning English vocabulary, we can continue learning new words forever: the sky’s the limit.

We all want things to be bigger, better and faster.

Well, the sky’s the limit, and we can make our second language as big and as good as we want and speak it as fast as we want.

All we have to do is work on it. Slow and steady wins the race!
