Word of the Day: Surreal

It all feels so surreal.

We’ve just come through a pandemic!

It was like one of those History Channel episodes about ancient history, but we were living through it this time.

Now, there’s war in Europe again.

As I write this, my phone is going off with a missile alert while I’m listening to Black Sabbath’s song War Pigs.

This is true.

I’m telling you, this sh** is surreal.

North Korea has again fired an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) over Japan.

When things are so strange that they don’t seem real, or we feel like we are living in a dream, we can say they are surreal

Simultaneously, while all this stuff is happening, it’s 24℃ at 8:00 am on the third of November.

What the heck is up with that?

I can see bumble bees flying around from dead flower to dead flower through the bug screen because all the doors and windows in my home are open.

This is surreal!

Sure, it’s a great save on power because I don’t have to pay to heat my home, but at the same time, it’s pretty unnerving.

We are living through an incredible and surreal time in human history.

There could be a third world war, but we’ll be fighting alongside the Germans and Japanese this time.

I mean, Donald Trump has already served one term as US president, and he could be elected again.

This guy caused a stir with ‘covfefe’ on Twitter and believes he can declassify documents by thinking about it.

To add insult to injury, Elon Musk is now the Chief Twit!
