WotD: Side hustle
It is becoming more common for university-educated and talented people to have a side hustle.
You see, a side hustle is another job or interest you pursue in addition to your day job.
You may be an English language teacher but also talented at website design or real-estate investment.
If you are, you can take on some work related to those fields in your spare time, for example.
You may be an accomplished artist who wishes to one day support yourself entirely by selling your work.
Instead of quitting your day job as a software engineer, you can pursue your art as a side hustle and keep the money flowing in.
I’m not sure if having a side hustle is common in Japan, but I am sure it will be in the not-too-distant future.
