Word of the Day: Rosy
How do you feel when you look at the picture I have chosen to accompany the word of the day? Does everything look rosy?
Does it make you feel happy?
I hope so because I chose it for two reasons.
The first is that the picture has a rose-coloured tinge to it.
The second is because rosy means hope for future success or happiness.
Imagine waking up in one of those houses, looking out your window and seeing that everything has a rose-coloured tinge.
You would know that it will be a good day, an auspicious day, a happy day.
You would know in your heart that today, everything will be rosy.
Perhaps that’s the reason why some people prefer to wear rose-coloured glasses.
It’s not every day that you wake up, and everything is rosy.
Wearing rose-coloured glasses is a way to make sure everything looks rosy all the time.
At least to you, anyway.
We should all get a pair of those rose-coloured glasses.
If we all wore them all the time, maybe we’d all feel happier and more content with the world.
