Proverb: Out of sight, out of mind
This proverb means that you only think about something while you can see it or deal with it daily; Once it’s gone, you forget it very quickly.
That is out of sight, out of mind.
Recently my wife and I got a little Shiba Innu.
Her name is Sora.
Sora’s former masters did not abuse her, but they did not have time to play with her.
I play with Sora every day.
Now she follows me everywhere like a little puppy even though she is four years old.
For Sora, her former masters are out of sight, out of mind; she has forgotten them already.
I only hope that she doesn’t forget me.
