English Idiom: Open the door to (something)

Here we are, everyone, on the last day of 2017!

What an excellent opportunity to open the door to something new in 2018.

When you open the door to something, you make it possible or at least introduce yourself to it.

A closed door offers no possibilities.

The door to 2017 is quickly closing, and now we can open the door to 2018 and every new possibility under the sun.

Technology is developing very quickly, and electric cars, automation, and artificial intelligence are growing realities every day.

Why not take a technology course of some kind in 2018?

It could help you get up to speed on some of the new possibilities and opportunities that are waiting for you.

When you open the door to something, you make it possible or at least introduce yourself to it.

A closed door offers no possibilities.

Don’t be afraid of a new opportunity becoming a flop.

Mistakes and failure are a significant part of success.

Come on, everybody, let’s make some changes in 2018!
