Phrase: On your doorstep
Life is short.
Why not move to Wakayama, where you will have nature on your doorstep?
People are finding themselves changing their lifestyles to accommodate the changes in the world.
With the pandemic interrupting everything, people are rethinking their future and how they want to live.
When something is described as being on your doorstep, it means that the thing is very near your home.
They are looking for a slow life with fresh air, peace and quiet.
Nature is also an essential part of people’s lives.
Those who have nature on their doorstep often live slower-paced lives with less stress than those who live in cities.
If you’re thinking about a new lifestyle, it might be time to move to the countryside of Wakayama and work from home!
Moving to the countryside is an excellent option if you want to get away from the city but still want to work remotely and get two birds with one stone.
It’s not just for retirees – more and more young people are choosing this lifestyle and avoiding the hustle and bustle of Tokyo.
Some people move out of Tokyo because they want a change after a huge event such as a pandemic or some other major life event.
Others just want the peace and quiet only available in Wakayama, where you will have nature on your doorstep.
Nature is so close that on my daily walks, it is not uncommon to encounter a raccoon dog, masked palm civet, deer or, on last Christmas Eve – a small bear.
Because I live directly next to a river, sweetfish are almost on my doorstep.
Give it a thought.
What do you want on your doorstep?
