On the fritz

When things go on the fritz, they are just not working correctly. When your computer is on the fritz call you local tech guy or gal.
Sometimes, even the tech guys don’t know what’s wrong.

Idiom: On the fritz

I don’t know about you, but it gets my goat when my computer is on the fritz.

You understand what I mean. Computers are supposed to make things much more straightforward to accomplish, but when your computer goes haywire, you feel like you are no longer in control; the machine is in control.

When things go on the fritz, they just do not work correctly.

Call your local tech guy or gal when your computer is on the fritz.

It grinds my gears when things do not work as they should.

Oh well, what can you do, right?

Not much.

The only thing you can do when your computer is on the fritz is take a deep breath, let it out slowly and call your tech guy.

That’s the other problem; I am my tech guy.

Now that I think about it, why are most tech guys, guys?

Why aren’t there more tech gals?

Women are better at multitasking and have much more patience than men.

I would have thought that women would take to tech like ducks to water.

Anyway, don’t call me the next time your computer is on the fritz.

Call your friendly local tech guy or gal.
