Matter at Hand

To achieve success, focus on the matter at hand.
How can we focus on the matter at hand if we don’t have hands? Tell me that, why don’t you?

Phrase: Matter at Hand

Hey, it is Monday again.

Congratulations, everybody.

You have survived another weekend, and now you can go to work for another week. YAY!

Anyway, I want to get to the matter at hand for the day and not talk about the weekend.

Five days a week, I add a new post to my website.

Therefore, the matter at hand for today is a new expression.

You already know what the expression is, but do you know what it means?

Well, the expression matter at hand means whatever you are concentrating on at the moment.

It could be a problem, situation or project.

You can even call it the task at hand.

Both expressions have precisely the same meaning.

I’m going to keep this one short and sweet. I have to get to the next matter at hand, which is writing my next post: stay the course.

This post is simple and easy to read. It’s likely to be understood by someone with at least a 6th-grade education (age 11).

On the Flesch-Kincaid reading-ease test, this post scores 81.

The easier a passage is to read, the higher the score on a scale of 0 – 100.
